Why Masonry?

Concrete masonry unit's ease of integration with complex cast in place concrete elements made it the best fit for this project. Large spans and complex architectural elements were handled with a combination of CMU masonry and concrete.
The ability to maintain continuity of reinforcing, and transfer large loads through the masonry from concrete elements made this projects' challenging design elements possible.
