Old Carolina brick with grapevine buff mortar joints. Fifteen front piers wrapped in brick with bluestone caps. Brick mail box. Foundation is all brick on the main structure below ground floor deck with bluestone edge. Brick running bond - top row foundation row lock. Outside and inside entry floor brick herringbone with bluestone border. Atrium: Interior brick veneer wall cladding "Flemish bond" pattern. Chevron patterns recessed. Key bricks and brick wrapping of all interior columns and headers and windows overlooking atrium. Bluestone ledge around water feature. Cabana: All columns cabana area brick, pebble finish terrazzo deck (done by others) bordered with herringbone brick and bluestone. Column caps bluestone. Cabana columns are cut brick to allow hurricane shutters to slide snugly down to the deck. First story walkway/porch, second story veranda and all wraparound walkways all herringbone brick pattern bordered inside and outside with bluestone. Upper sun deck: deck is herringbone brick pattern, bluestone borders (including stairway up and landings). Interior fireplace: (Isokern) dark manganese splits 1.25 brick in herringbone pattern. The brick in the 3-story atrium were all cut down to thin veneer including corners (chair cuts). The amount of brick in the atrium was 12,200 brick. They were all thinned down. The structure is concrete and block (by others).
