Riverwatch Marina
Project Description
After 4 hurricanes slammed into Florida in 2005, with damage to vessels reaching into the hundreds of millions of dollars, created the need for safe and secure boat housing facilities.
Riverwatch Marina constructed a reinforced 8x4x16 Atlas clay brick warehouse to withstand the ravages of potential future hurricanes and protect millions of dollars of high-end yachts and recreational vessels. This unique design incorporating reinforced concrete and structural clay brick walls that run upwards of 40' tall, solved a critical problem facing boat owners interested in protecting their investment. Masonry was again called upon for strength and offer a beautiful and pleasing facility. |
